Great location, near to one of the main railway stations, the Western, which means easy and cheap access to the Liszt airport by train.A number of sights are in a walking distance, The Parliament, the River Danube, Szabadság Square etc. We had a smaller, but comfortable room. The hotel is in the heart of the city but in a quiet backstreet....

This hotel wins on it's location. The train from the airport comes into Nyugati station, which is really just a couple of minutes away. At the end of the road where the hotel is situated, turn right and there is a tram stop back at Nyugati, or turn left and there is one before the river, depending on which way...

Although this is a hotel in the city center and there is a nearby busy street, I had the most comfortable sleep lately, it was not noisy at all. I stood there for the new year by car and parking the car was free of charge in Budapest in that period. The reception was friendly, helpful. Breakfast was ok, could...

The hot breakfast does the hotel a tremendous injustice and you would be better off eating elsewhere. While the reception staff are friendly, the service was very poor. Specifically, the bar area which was not manned most of the time. The rooms were very good with free wi-fi and decent mini bar which saved my life after New Years Eve!...

rooms a little bit crampet, nice designer touches, sometimes over the top like board behind lcd tv that makes you to have to walk sideways in order not to knock tv down..... shower among the best, kettle o.k. but couple of tea bags would do the job..... staff excellent, maid was cleaning the room only when they were assured that...

Choosing this hotel in lovely Budapest is already a turndown in this city. The rooms are small and old-fashioned. No view from the window. Public areas - lobby & breakfast room - small and regular. I will definitely try another hotel near the Danube river next time.

I went to Budapest from the 3rd-6th Oct 2010 with my girlfriend (26yr and 30yr old) Firstly the hotel is new, welcoming and the decor is very well finished. Its not exactly in the City centre (10min walk) but it is very close to all amenities. Rooms are not massive but they have very comfy beds, flat screen tv's, mini...

Marmara Hotel Budapest Situated in the heart of Budapest, the Marmara Hotel is ideally situated for all the main visitor attractions that this beautiful city has to offer. Starting at the airport, you can buy a return ticket to the hotel on the airport shuttle bus service for about 3400HF or about £10. This takes you direct to the hotel...

I stayed there for 3 days and the room was spacious, I had a little balcony and could smoke outside with a view on the patio. The stuff was really friendly; due to my late arrival after a 7hours delay there were no problems at all and got me everything I wanted although it was already midnight. The bar staff...
