It felt safe. The lobby was very classy. However, rooms and bathrooms were the smaller I think I encountered in about 9 hotels I stayed all around Europe in our 18 day trip. We were recommended to eat at a restaurant around its corner and it was terrible!!!! Staff at the reception and restaurant was not very helpful. But then...

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during the ash cloud chaos. Booked and paid for a double/twin room which wasn't cheap but upon check in was given a single bed with the smallest room imaginable. Air conditioners were not working at all luckily it was in April where the overnight temperatures are bearable if you keep the windowsd....

Very close to public transport and markets. Air conditioners not working and person at reception wasnt overly friendly.
