Although nominally a budget hotel it is clean, pleasant and efficiently run by an ever friendly and helpful family staff. The experience is several levels above what one might expect from the price. Would definitely use again - recommended.

2 people found this review helpful We organized a 5 day trip for professors and students of the Technical University of Budapest (41 persons). We had a lot of help by Paola and Luca, the young brothers managing the hotel. When our group became too big for Trentina, they found places in another hotel very close for the same prize. The rooms are not very big...

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. We got triple room at 1st. floor with balcony and view to the garden. Room was very clean, towels were changed daily. There was a shower with hot (warm) water. Beds very very comfortable and with clean bet-clothes. The owners Ms/Mrs Paola and Mr. Luca were very kind and helpful everytime -...

To quote the owners sister "Do you want hot water or good croissant". This place is 50 spots over rated. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everyone coming and going.I am only complaining because of the good rating I expected more from a hotel in the top 25 in a big city like Milan. Beware of the...

Hotel Trentina is a great find for travelers that are looking for clean, safe, modest priced hotel in the Citta Studi area of Milan. Trentina is easy waliking distance to either Loreto or Piola Metro stops and the Politecnico. Rooms are modest with fresh towels daily. My bath had plenty of hot water and good water pressure (always a good...

We stayed at the Trentina for four nights in the Sept/Oct 2010 timeframe. Paola and Lucca are wonderful hosts. Paola prepares the most wonderful breakfast, cappuccino and hot chocolate. Lucca runs the afternoon and evening shift. Both are a wealth of information, most enjoyable to talk with, and speak perfect english. Don't miss the Piccolo Ischea pizzeria. Excellent pizza! The...

This hotel is a nice hideaway in Milano. Located outside the city center, the metro is easily reachable to explore the city. The staff is very helpful and offers valuable advice for sightseeing and nightlife. The rooms seem a bit aged, but this fits perfectly with the atmosphere of this charming place.

1 person found this review helpful I stayed here for one night with a friend en-route to Switzerland. We wanted somewhere clean and cheap. I stayed here last year and was impressed with the service and price. Again I was very happy, we were helped in organising a night out clubbing, and returning at 3am was not a problem for them, they made sure someone was...

I must give the Trentina an excellent rating. It's a no frills hotel but Paola, her mother, and Lucca are a wonderful family who do what is necessary to make a hotel home. My sister, niece, and I stayed at the hotel at the beginning of our trip and again at the end. When we left Rome we were sadden...
