I stay in the Hotel Rose Garden for 7 nites fr 5/10. The hotel is a 1 min walk to Nishi Shinjuku Tokyo Metro Station. Next to it, you can find yoshinoya restaurant which until 1am in the mid nite. There are many restaurants around within the walking distance. McDonald is also available on opposite road but it is...

Typically small Japanese business hotel rokms, very clean and about 10minutes walk from Shinjuku station. Great service, bathroom bulb went and it was changed as soon as I told them even though it was after midnight. Although I didn't eat there, they have a restaurant next door to the hotel itself.

If you don't know where you're going, you might miss this one! Still, inside it's lovely. Staff speaks english well, but they told me some sort of ridiculous rule about requiring a copy of each guest's passport upon check-in. They said it was a Japanese law, but I have never heard of anything like this before. Anyway, we got a...

No way, expensive for what they offer. Better the Hyatt next door. Small beds.

Since we were travelling with our 2 young kids, we booked for a triple room in this hotel. While some reviews stated that the rooms are quite small, we guessed those were refering to single/double rooms. As for the triple room that we stayed, it was very spacious. In fact, when we first stepped into our room, we were quite...

Couldn't fault this hotel in any way - okay so the 'semi double' room is quite small, but it's big enough (and great value). The bed was amply big enough for a 5'9'' female and 6'2'' male. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and the service (like just about everywhere else in Japan) was perfect. There's an 'eat at...

Hotel Rose Garden Shinjuku is a nice enough functional hotel with OK service. It's about 10 mins walk from Shinjuku's central areas and the train station. Had some trouble finding it at first walking from station due to various flyovers etc. Realised later that we should've caught subway to the stop which is about 2 min walk from hotel.... Rooms...

The hotel is located in Shinjuku, a "central" place to stay, you can find almost anything there. Very close to the main train station, which connects to almost everywhere without many changes (for most of the main tourist attractions). I would describe the hotel as ideal for "couple holidays". The price is very reasonable and the rooms are fine (clean...

We stayed 5 nights at Rose Garde in September. We wre travelling for leisue with a 5 y.o. kid. So for us it was very important to 1)have enough room for all three of us 2) have a good location in order to move freely around Tokyo 3) have a quiet place the location is OK, you need 10 minutes...

A little bit worn out hotel, but in very good and still quiet location, if you like to stay in Shinjuku. I believe this also quite likely the best value in Shinjuku for doubleroom under 12000 yen per night. The Shinjuku main subway station (Shinjuku sanchome) is a short walk away, Shinjuku Nishi station is just around the corner. Quiet...
