Good -Great location. (Slightly away from the the heart of shinjuku, but only a brief 10 minute walk from everything and is very easy to navigate.) -Convenient location. (To get there exit "Minami Guchi" south exit of JR shinjuku. Make a right and walk about 10 minutes) -Ease of transportation. (Taxi stand outside. JR Shinjuku about 5 minute walk) -Family...

I read a million reviews of this hotel and my main worry was the room size, I'm 5ft 6 and my partner over 6ft....the room wasn't massive but it was fine! We stored our big luggage in the wardrobe and job done! Everything about this place was great, AMAZING service at the English helpdesk, room cleaned very well everyday, no...

I am a Japanese who knows very well around this area. Shinjuku is very convenient location, and this hotel is in the middle of its business area - surrounded by gorgeous skyscrapers. Shinjuku Washington Hotel is very impressive only from the outside. The room they offer was absolutely horrible. I booked my hotel through expedia. but the room was way...

First of all, my prayers & blessings to the victims of the earthquake & tsunami. You are in my thoughts. I stayed at this hotel for 10 days. I booked for a single room but was upgraded to a "double" which was a nice surprise even tho' in Japan, a "double" is pretty small compared to American standards. Since I...

Stayed here at start of honeymoon, 4 nights. Staff were friendly and helpful, it was an easy stay. We had a problem with our room on our second night and we were immediately upgraded to a suite and breakfast was thrown in for free for the rest of our stay. Couldn't fault it at all, would return here if we...

I was on a business trip to Tokyo and decided to stay here because the bus from Narita airport stops here. It was a pretty smooth transportation experience. We arrived early and were able to leave our bags at the lobby. The staff were helpful and could speak good English. The room we stayed was a 3 bed room. Being...

Why do the Japanese have such a high suicide rate? Did they stay too often at the Washington hotel? The rooms are done all in grey, with a low ceiling and a window which had the size of an iPad. The air-conditioning knew four settings: off, hot, very hot, blistering. In winter the rooms were extremely hot. The window could...

Stayed here for 6 nights to finish our trip to Japan. This place was very good value for around the $100 per night. As soon as we got off the train at Shinjuku we could see the hotel down the road. The walk is about 5-10 minutes. There is also an option to walk completely sheltered. Take the Tokyo Governement...

Stayed in the Annex building next to the hotel, anticipated the small rooms, but this was really a small Double room. The Japanese refer to this as a semi Double :( Location is not good, Shinjuku station is huge and the signs are abit misleading if you have not been there before. Takes around 10mins+ tops to walk from station...

Google map is very confusing, the hotel is actually just south of the Tokyo Metropolitan Gov't Offices - a perfect location, close walk to parks, major train station and loads of shops/ bars/ restaurants. Small rooms, but modern and very clean. Front desk staff friendly and helpful.
