Good location if you plan for shopping in Shinjuku area But it;'s quite a walk from subway (5-10mins) There's plenty of Restaurants and Pachinko nearby Room is very small for the price, but there's no better option in this area

2 people found this review helpful As said in a lot of the previous reviews: the location alone is enough reason to choose this hotel. There are so many restaurants, cafés, bars, shops (and people) around, and it’s easy to find - only five minutes away from the massive Shinjuku Train Station. We stayed four nights at Shinjuku Prince Hotel in March 2011. The first two...

1 person found this review helpful We booked Shinjuku price based on the reviews and it was one of the hotel choices listed with our flight package. We ended up taking the NEX from the airport, and had a terrible time figuring out how to get to the hotel from the JR station, dragging all our luggage with us. We couldn't figure out how to get...

This hotel is exactly what I need on an adventure vacation. Not a lot of space, but enough to be comfortable. A great view, even better at night when the lights of the cit come alive. Bathroom is small for some but totally functional if you use it well. The bathtub is a nice plus and the Japanese style toilet...

A perfect location for walking to lots of main attractions around central Tokyo. If you can't/ don't like walking then Shinjuku has metro stations and the train station a couple of minutes away. Food on every corner. The room was lovely inside. The bathroom is smallish but certainly not uncomfortable given it's a capital city. I really enjoyed my stay....

We stayed here 5 nights. The location could not be better, being a stone's throw away from Shinjuku JR station. Opposite the hotel is the Kabuki-cho area, and so eating is convenient but alongside the food joints are several strip clubs. So the area is not quite conducive for families. The airport bus to Haneda is also 15 mins walk...

Stayed in November 2010. Great hotel overall. Located very close to Shinjuku station so perfect for using as a base to explore the whole city. Also surrounded by shops and restaurants. Room was very small but seems to be the norm for Japan. It was very clean however and modern, obviously having recently been renovated. Hotel was quiet and a...

Stayed here for about a week on a leisure trip to Tokyo with my girlfriend. We picked this hotel because it was one of the best value in central Tokyo and the location was perfect. The hotel is easy to find, right on one of the main crossings in Shinjuku, and just a few minutes walk from Shinjuku station. The...

This hotel is super close to Shinjuku Station. It's also right across the street from the Kabuki cho. Lots of shops, restaurants, bars all in walking distance, and the electric city is a short (10-15m walk) west. No free wi-fi in the rooms ($5/nt charge for a lan cable), and the lobby is shared between a couple cafes and a...

Between my luggages, my snowboard and the bed, I don't think I ever saw the carpet. The bathroom had a funny smell but luckily we were only there for 2 nights. Perfect location in Shinjuku. It is quite close to the metro or JR - but I think we were too ambitious thinking we could walk from the JR station...
