The citadines shinjuku is small but its very nicely designed that you sometimes forget about how small it really is. Love the free internet. Its nice for two but go for the bigger room if you have 3 people.
Location is so so but not too long from the heart of Shinjuku. Will come again anytime!

This review should have been written months ago, but better late than never!
Citadines Shinjuku is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in, and that's saying alot! It's pristinely clean, oh so comfortable, and the decor is quirky and cute. Beds were comfortable, loved the flat-screen TV and mod-cons, and LOVED the yukata provided for guests. We rented...

After trying to find a nice looking hotel in a good area in Tokyo, I decided to book Citadines after its good TripAdvisor reviews. The hotel is spotless, small but ok sized rooms, and security and service were excellent.
My only con about this hotel is that every day we stayed here (9 nights) we made our way down to...

I thought Citadines was absolutely perfect for our stay in Tokyo. the room was a decent size, beautifully clean and the staff where VERY helpful and all spoke English. I didn't mind walking 10-15 mins to the station as theres so much to see and it really isn't that long. Heaps of restaurants and heaps of shopping nearby.Overall 10/10 experience...

1) Location
- the closest station is shinjuku gyoenmae (take exit 2) which is about 3mins walk from the hotel, I would suggest printing a map before you go
- this station is on the marunouchi line which can get to most central places of tokyo, max 1-2 changes. and is 2 stations away from the HUGE shinjuku station where...

The room was spotlessly clean, reasonably spacious and seemed very good value compare to other hotels in the area although they are lacking in character and once inside, electric toilet seat apart, you could be anywhere in the world.
The hotel is slightly off the main area of Shinjuku but still only a 10 minute walk to the bright lights...

The apartments at Citadines are spacious and have all the conveniences of an apartment-hotel. The rooms are modern and well-equipped (free internet, too) but you may have to figure out how to use the tv, dvd and cable box (instructions in English weren't that great). The location is good - peaceful and quiet area but you will need to walk...

Hi, i stayed with this hotel in october for my first trip to Japan. The staff were very helpful in offering tips to get to places. Also, the room was creatively designed with many gadgets such as cooker, microwave, fridge in such a tiny space.
The walk to the nearest train station is interesting as there are many cute little...

Stayed at the Citadines for a couple of nights for business just outside of Tokyo. Location new Shinjuku makes for easy access from Narita Express line as well as trains-metro system (suggest getting off at Shinjuku-gyoemmae for shorter walk). Staff was very friendly and helpful, notably Residence Manager Yuka Yamane. Rooms are a good size by Tokyo standards and very...

Any reasonably priced hotel room in Tokyo is going to be small, right?
Not at Citadines Shinjuku where you have a ridiculous amount of room in a decent location at a fraction of the cost you would usually expect to pay.
Double rooms are more in the nature of small serviced apartments with full cooking facilities, and plenty of room...
