Perfect antidote to all the neontastic sights you come across in Midtown. Will make you fall in love with New York in a whole new way. Great insight into firefighters and real new yorkers. Amazing people.

Words really cannot describe the experience one has at this museum. The artifacts include an actual piece of one if the hijacked airliners. The stories behind the photos and artifacts on display with leave you breathless. It was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had. It will make you cry, but it will also give you hope that...

Gary Suson's labor of love is a must-see for anyone coming to New York. Unlike other 9/11-related sites, this one does not focus on the actual event. It is a respectful, emotional, and ultimately uplifting tribute to those who (unknowingly) risked their health and lives to honor the victims. You'll come to know the men and women (and dogs) who...

Gary's photograph's and personal connection to his work, the people, their stories, and the emotional feelings associated to this historic event brings to life the committment, love, and unity amongst the people of this world..... this museum will bring tears to your eyes and tug on your heartstrings throughout the entire tour and for hours after as you scroll through...

Our first visit to NYC wouldn't have been complete without a visit to the Ground Zero Museum and Workshop. Unfortunately, there wasn't much to see at the actual location as they are currently building on the same spot that once housed the World Trade Centre. This museum was/is your best bet to really getting up close and personal with the...

Great work to pay tribute to the victims and to the heros who worked so hard to make sure they would rest in peace. Loved the small group formula, the self-paced experience, the intense respect that this place inspires. Thanks to Gary Suson and staff for a great achievement.

The Ground Zero Museum Workshop is in the former studio of the photographer, Marlon Suson. Mr. Suson was selected by the New York Fire Department to be their official photographer, and spent about 8 months photographing the work done at Ground Zero following 9/11. Don't let the small size of the studio fool you -- there's artwork, artifacts, and accompanying...

1 person found this review helpful We recently visited the Ground Zero Museum Workshop, tucked away in the Meatpacker District of Manhattan, New York. Called "the best little museum in New York,” the Ground Zero Museum Workshop, by design, is a small and intimate space that impacts its visitors in a big way. Although it was much smaller than we anticipated (one room of about 1,000...

After visiting the Ground Zero Museum Workshop it was difficult to think of how to review this kind of "attraction." Nearly 10 years ago my husband and I remember (like so many) where we were when we learned that the United States of America was under attack. On our trip to NYC we felt it only fitting to honor the...
