Gaudi's buildings and designs are interesting but it was very busy and hot with very little shade. Away from the main entrance there was not too much of interest. Access is difficult because you have 1200m to walk up a very very steep hill from the Metro. If you are not fit or if you have small children this will...

Park Guell had been highly recommended by friends who had visited the year before. They were Gaudi afficianados, and had paid the high admissions for Batllo, Mila, and a couple of other places. Maybe that's why I expected more. The front buildings were unique, the stairs with dragon/lizard, the colonnade, and the serpentine mosaic benches winding around the area above...

The route we took from Vallcarca metro stop was up about 5 very steep outdoor escalators, so perhaps unsuitable for wheelchair users or anyone with a baby in a pram. However, the climb is worth it for the breathtaking views of the city from the top. You can see the Sagrada Familiar, the beach, the mountains, the arc de triomphe...

This Park is absolutely beautiful. It was a really enjoyable experience to be away from all the sight seeing and come in and enjoy this beautiful park. You can spend hours just walking around and enjoy the views of the park. There's also a cafe/stand where you can buy drinks and snacks. We just walked around and come back for...

Park Guell was fantastic - amazing Gaudi architecture and great people watching. Bring your own food and drink - we had to spend nearly 30€ to get three soft drinks, 1 sandwich, and 2 ice creams.

Not one of Gaudi's best work. However, it has a nice view from the top of the city of Barcelona. It can be a little crowded at times. I still highly recommend La Sagrada Familia, if you're interested in seeing the BEST of Gaudi.

Parc Guell is one of the best things to do in Barcelona but there are a lot of things better than going there; it’s not the best. It’s not boring because you can walk around and pass the time, and it’s free, but you can also do that visiting Barcelona city that is also marvellous. Parc Guell has sculptures and...

We read a tip to go to Vallcarca metro and follow the signs to parc gualle using the escalators and a very short steep walk. This brought us in at the top of the Parc and we then just walked slowly back down through the Parc enjoying all the wonderful sights. We really enjoyed our morning. As we were now at...

I wasn't aware of the long walk from the Metro and had a moaning fiance in tow as a result! Most of the walk is uphill too so we were breathless & hot by the time we got to Parc Guell. However, when you step foot into the grounds you are immediately transformed into a magical playground of people, colours,...

I agree with previous comments, that most of the attractions are at the front gates, but follow the instructions posted earlier and take the escalators to the top of the park and walk down, it is less effort, but either way it is quite a walk. I advise you to go first thing in the morning or after 3pm, as...
